The NB47J from Zalman is the perfect replacement for your motherboard's chipset cooler. This oversized heatsink allows the chipset to run at optimal temperatures without the need for a fan. With no moving parts, this chipset cooler cannot fail and makes no NVH (noise, vibration, and harmonics). If you are trying to build an ergonomic silent pc, this chipset heatsink is a must. If you are building a system for mission critical applications, this heatsink can increase reliability. If your chipset fan is failing, or if you just want to improve your system stability, the NB47J is a vital addition to any computer system.

Features:
1. ZM-NB47J does not require a fan, and thus does not need to be powered and does not create noise or vibration.
2. The Northbridge chipset can be cooled down to an optimal temperature without generation of noise.

* Recommendation : When used with CPU coolers such as CNPS6000-XXXX (socket462) and CNPS6500B-XXXX (socket478) having FB123, or with CNPS7000-XXXX (socket478/754), more stable and silent operation can be achieved.

Compatible Northbridge Chipsets:
ZM-NB47J is compatible with all Northbridge chipsets that do not have a built-in graphics chipset.

Note
1) ZM-NB47J cannot be used on motherboards that lack mounting holes around the Northbridge chipset.
2) If the provided push pins don't match the holes on the motherboard, use the push pins supplied with motherboard.
3) Do not install ZM-NB47J if it interferes with components on the motherboard.
